| Roll out clay to about
8x11 using 2 rulers or paint sticks (used as a thickness guide) to ¼"
thickness. Once clay is rolled out, place pattern on clay and cut out with
x-acto knife. You can trace pattern on clay by placing pattern over piece
and using stylus to mark guidelines where French Dimension will go. Cut
out an oblong piece of clay to place as brim of hat. Paint 3 coats of CC118
on hat, shoes, cap, cheek, mouth, eyes and heart and then outline witch.
Let dry before applying White and Black French dimensions where applicable.
Dry before firing at 04. Glaze with GL612 and fire at 06. |
